Activities for 2017 ended with the final drive in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Departing from Gelang Petah, Johore, the convoy of about 20 cars was all set to head to the Malaysian capital. However the first order of the day was breakfast, a 66km drive to Guang Fatt Wantan Mee for its traditional handmade noodles and spicy soup in a time-wasting place. After the meal, it really started with the nearly 340 kilometers of open road that allowed Maranello car engines for a good run.
For the ride, the group moved to the 5-star luxury hotel, the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, one of the best hotels in the city and located close to shopping and entertainment districts. After a restful night, the group traveled 82 kilometers toward the state of Pahang at the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary in Temerloh. The only one of its kind in Malaysia, the owners enjoyed an educational breakfast understanding the human elephant conflicts, habitat conservation and species importance. After more driving, the day closed with dinner at one of the best restaurants on the Oversea Restaurant peninsula.
After two days and over 60 hours of driving, the convoy returned home.
